I applied the tan at 10:20 this morning then hopped in the shower at 12:30. I didn't use body wash, literally just rinsed the tan off then patted myself dry.
There is a slight fake tan smell still but the colour looks natural and isn't patchy or streaky!
The bottle says it carries on developing even after you've washed it off and it lasts between 5-7 days.
Compared to my usual tans, this one is pretty light so if you prefer a darker tan I'd recommend leaving it on for 3-4 hours but overall it's worth buying and I'd give it a firm 8/10!

It's called cocoa brown by marissa carter.

I have just finished applying it and I already know I'm definitely going to be buying it again.
It was in one of my magazines last month (glamour or cosmopolitan, I can't remember which one :( ) and I found it in primark for £6 which isn't too steep considering I've used fake bake and St tropez which are both pretty expensive.
You have to leave it on between 1-3 hours depending on how dark you want your tan then just rinse it off.

This morning I had a shower, shaved my legs, exfoliated and moisturised before I applied it with a tan mitt. You can buy the mitts from primark too if you can't be bothered to look anywhere else, they're only a few pound :)
The tan went on really easily and I hardly had to rub it in, plus it smelt really fruity.
It's been developing for half an hour now and it's started smelling like other fake tans but not half as strong which is a bonus.
I'm going to rinse it off in about an hour and see how it looks then.
I shall keep you posted on the results!

It was made in April but I'm still chuffed about how it turned out, even though it took about 12 hours!

Me and my boyfriend, Danny (and with a little help from his mom with the icing), we made this cake for his sister in law who was leaving work to have her baby, cute or what?!

Although challenging, it was so much fun experimenting with different spherical items to try and get the rounded tummy right. Was stressful in some parts too!

In the end we visited www.diy-icing.co.uk and they had literally everything we needed for the cake and also the perfect mould for a pregnant stomach.

We only used a simple sponge mixture but anything more complicated would've sent me into meltdown mode. It was tense taking the cake out the tin without it falling apart but the outcome couldn't have been any better :)

We covered the belly (and boobs, which were made from putting sponge mix into a couple of ramekins) with buttercream then carefully rolled out fondant icing and draped it over the cake. I also added a few extra touches with a protruding belly button and baby foot :)

After cutting away the excess fondant and decorating the cake, we finished with a blue ribbon and the cake was finished at last!

We had a lot of comments about how professional the cakes looked and being amateur cake bakers/decoraters, we were pretty proud with the result

Hope you all like it :) x

I haven't posted on here for months, I've become so lazy :(
I managed to summon up some willpower when I was bought a new nail varnish. I love it that much I feel I have to tell everyone about it :)

My mom came back from shopping in the week with a new orange nail varnish for me, seeing as she used up the last of my old one.
It was from accesorize, a shop I hardly ever go into. Even if I had gone in I would never have picked up the nail varnish because the packaging isn't the most exciting or eye catching (booooring).

Anyway, the colour is nice and bright, you only need 1 coat and it drys super quick :) which is good for me because I'm extremely impatient. Plus I painted my nails 4 days ago and only the tiniest chips have started to appear.
I'm not sure on the price but my mom said there were loads of colours and there's 50% off so a bottle is hardly going to break the bank!
I'd definitely recommend, such a good quality varnish xxx

There were loads of different patterns to choose from and it wasn't even expensive - something unusual for Cath Kidston!

My boyfriend had given me a plain white t-shirt that he'd bought but hardly worn and I got to work with adding the material.

It was pretty easy at first when I was measuring the material but then the sewing began and it took over an hour sewing it around the sleeve!

This was made easier when I discovered material glue in a cupboard in my kitchen and it was amazing.
It was quick and easy, even though it smelt a bit, it worked so well and is still going strong after being washed quite a few times.

I've never made anything like this before but it was good to start a different kind of project. It cost me hardly anything and people have complimented me on it and even asked me where I bought it.

If you like Cath Kidston or making clothes (or both), I recommend trying this. There's plenty of patterns to choose from and you could add the material to any type of clothing or add it to brighten up something old :)

If you do give it a go I'd love to see pictures so please send me any!
